Some Tips To Make It Happen

To solve a problem or to reach your goal, you don't need to know all the answers in advance.
But you must have a clear idea of the problem or the goal you want to reach.
All you have to do is know where you're going.
The answers will come to you of their own accord.
Don't procrastinate when faced with a big difficult problem, break the problem into parts, and handle one part at a time. Remember, the Impossible can always be broken down in to possibilities.
If you can get up the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed.
It's the job you never start that takes the longest to finish.
Don't worry about what lies dimly at a distance, but do what lies clearly ahead.
Your biggest opportunity is where you are right now.
When you begin you are half done.

Work, Family, Health, Friends & Spirit - An analogy

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air.
Name them -Work, Family, Health, Friends & Spirit.

You Are keeping all of them in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls -
Family, Health, Friends and Spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these,
they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They  will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it."

No Room For Doubt

Have your doubts become too comfortable and familiar? Are your doubts such a big part of your life that they're holding you back?

Keep in mind that doubt is nothing more than an opinion. You may have good reasons for doubt, but that doesn't necessarily make it true

When you have your doubts, what you don't have is action. When you fill your mind with doubt, you crowd out the positive possibilities.

Certainly it pays to be careful and realistic. But that doesn't mean you must be doubtful about your own abilities.

Instead of hiding behind your doubts, make the effort to prove them wrong. Instead of letting the doubts hold you back, choose instead to let the challenges push you forward.

Leave no room in your mind for doubt. And you'll make plenty of room in your life for real fulfillment.

How to Manager Your Life - A Nice Analogy

A professor stood before his philosophy class
and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students, if the jar was full?
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar.   He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.  They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.  The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor,   as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.
The sand is everything else --The small stuff.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,'  He continued,
there is no room for  the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled
'I'm glad you asked'.
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
There's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'
indeed a great wisdom article !!!

Ten Tips for Choosing a Career

by Marilyn Lindblad, Demand Media
Choosing a career is one of those momentous decisions that can change the course of your life. Such an important decision deserves considerable time and introspection. Ample information and self-examination can help you choose a satisfying career that you will enjoy for years to come.

One - Evaluate Your Work Style

The right career for you will be suited to your work style. Are you a self-starter who accomplishes goals on your own, or do you need the discipline of a structured work environment to do your best? An honest evaluation of your work style will help you decide whether a career where you work independently is right for you. If you're naturally a daydreamer or a procrastinator, you may do well in a career where a supervisor help you stay on task.

Two - Know Your Talents

Do you have a hobby or a talent that you love and are good at? Think of ways to transform activities that come naturally to you into a career. Working with wood, playing an instrument or trying different hair styles can lead to careers as a custom furniture marker, a musician or a hair stylist. Doing what you love can lead to a rewarding career.

Three - Set Financial Goals

One of your goals should be to choose a career where you can earn enough money to meet your financial goals. If you want to own a vacation home on every continent and fly to these homes on your private jet, a career as a retail clerk will probably not help you achieve your goals. You may have to make some compromises along the way, but generally speaking, the career you choose should allow you to meet your financial goals.

Four - Do the Math Before Going Back to School

Before you pay -- or, worse, borrow money -- for college or graduate school, make sure the career you choose is worth the expense. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the cost of an undergraduate college education rose 25 to 37 percent between 2000 and 2010. If you need to go back to school to qualify for your dream job, look into programs that repay your student loans if you work in a public service position for a few years after graduation.

Five - Assess Your Social Needs

You'll spend one-third of your life with the people you work with, so choose a career that's a good social fit. If you're a loner who doesn't enjoy social interaction, you may be well-suited to a career where you work independently or work from home. If you love to meet new people, you may find a career in sales fulfilling, where you work with the public.

Six - Conduct Informational Interviews

A 15-minute informational interview with someone who has a job you think you want can help cement your career choice. Many people will be happy to meet briefly with you to talk about the pros and cons of what they do and tell you whether they would make the same career choice if they could turn back time and choose differently. Start and end the meeting on time, ask probing questions and listen carefully to the answers.

Seven - Use Self-Assessment Tools

Use do-it-yourself resources to help you narrow your career choices. Take online quizzes to help you assess your aptitude for certain types of work. Review online job descriptions and career information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to help you understand what the education and training requirements are for different kinds of jobs. Many books and workbooks are also available to guide you through the self-assessment process.

Eight - Hire a Career Coach

If do-it-yourself tools aren't right for you, a professional career coach can help you measure your aptitude for success in different professions and navigate your transition from the job you have now toward your dream job. If you feel like you're stuck on your current career path, a coach may provide the counsel you need to jump-start the process and move onward and upward toward success.

Nine - Get Real-Life Experience

Follow the example of companies that use interns and temps to evaluate an individual before they extend a job offer. Real-life experience in the work environment where you think you want to work can help you make up your mind for certain. Job shadows, internships and temporary assignments give you a realistic view of a day in the life of a profession.

Ten - Be Patient

Finding the right career is a process, not an event. An entry level position in your field may not be your dream job, but it can give you a foothold on the career ladder you want to climb. It takes time to develop your career, but setting goals and following a plan to achieve them can help you fulfill your career aspirations.

Story: The Man In Trouble

A man was caught and thrown into a pit (A big hole on earth) of about "40 feet" deep, just because he was a stranger. He struggled trying to get out of the pit,but the more he tried, the weaker his muscles became. He said to himself, "I don't know how to get myself out of this. Maybe I should just die instead of enduring these miserable struggles and pains."
Just then, he heard a voice screaming, "Help! Help!! Help!!!" The shouts were coming from another pit, which was 10 feet more deeper than the one he was in.
He thought to himself, "Wow, so there is somebody else like me trapped here too". Listening carefully, he heard some cracking and sand dropping from the wall of the pit of the other victim. Immediately he summed up his courage and with his last bit of strength, started crawling little by little until he made it out of his pit.
That pain you think you are passing through, there are people worst off than you. Always say something sweet to yourself. Always smile at your
pains. Let them be; they are just there for a while and also to challenge you. Today may be your darkest hour, but your joy will come in the morning. Try to encourage yourself. Look at yourself in the mirror, beat your chest and say, "I can make it and I can stand the test of time."
*Always try to face your worst fear because nothing GOOD comes easy. You must be UNCOMFORTABLE to get to your COMFORT ZONE.

Cultivate the Healing Power of Gratitude,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNH29ZUxrwNpXep4RydleD5PWN959A&ust=1388699532297678
Gratitude is an immensely powerful force that we can use to expand our happiness,
create loving  relationships, and even improve our health.
Many scientific studies, including research by renowned psychologists
Robert Emmons and Michael McCullough, have found that people who
consciously focus on gratitude experience greater emotional wellbeing and
physical health than those who don’t.
In comparison with control groups, those who cultivated a grateful outlook:
  • Felt better about their lives as a whole
  • Experienced greater levels of joy and happiness
  • Felt optimistic about the future
  • Got sick less often
  • Exercised more regularly
  • Had more energy, enthusiasm, determination, and focus
  • Made greater progress toward achieving important personal goals
  • Slept better and awoke feeling refreshed
  • Felt stronger during trying times
  • Enjoyed closer family ties
  • Were more likely to help others and offer emotional support
  • Experienced fewer symptoms of stress,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNHeftX713UNqhypPE26jobyut3sfA&ust=1388766113428984
If you want more happiness, joy, and energy, gratitude is clearly
a crucial quality to cultivate.
It is a fullness of heart that moves us from limitation and fear to expansion and love.

When we’re appreciating something, our ego moves out of the way and
we connect with our is like rebooting your soul.

Gratitude brings our attention into the present, which is the only place where
miracles can unfold. The deeper our  appreciation, the more we see with
the eyes of the soul and the more our life flows in harmony with the
creative power of the universe.
Here are a few powerful gratitude practices for you to try:
1. Keep a Gratitude Journal,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNHeftX713UNqhypPE26jobyut3sfA&ust=1388766113428984

Since ancient times, philosophers and sages from every spiritual tradition have taught
that cultivating gratitude is a key to experiencing deeper levels of happiness,
 fulfillment, and wellbeing.
One of the earliest advocates of a daily gratitude practice was Dutch philosopher
Rabbi Baruch Spinoza. In the seventeenth century, he suggested that each day for a month,
we ask ourselves the following three questions:
  1. Who or what inspired me today?
  2. What brought me happiness today?
  3. What brought me comfort and deep peace today?
This practice, wrote Spinoza, would help us find more
meaning and joy in our lives and would lead to profound inner transformation.,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNGN6jQPsFlYhIhUT9QrKwJdCyr00A&ust=1388770560534117
As you write in your journal, challenge yourself by not repeating items from
the previous days, for this will make you look more deeply at all the
“little” things that enhance your life and give you joy . . .
waking in a warm bed; the aroma of your morning coffee,
your favourite song; a phone call from a friend; the ability to touch, see,
or hear; electricity; the beating of your heart; a hug.
Gratitude Journal
You can write in your journal just before bed, when you wake up in the morning
or just before you meditate. The time of day isn’t important; what is important is
that you consistently take a few moments to consciously focus your mind on your blessings.
Commit to keeping a journal for a month. What we put our attention on expands in our life.
By offering gratitude for all the goodness we experience, we’re inviting the universe
to give us more and more of what we want.
2. Write a Thank You Letter
Make a list of at least five people who have had a profound impact on your life.
Choose one and write a thank you letter expressing gratitude for all the gifts you’ve
received from that person. If possible, deliver your gratitude letter in person.

In studies of people who have practiced this form of gratitude, the results have been amazing.
Often the recipient of the letter had no idea what an impact he or she had had on another
person and were deeply touched by the expression of such authentic gratitude.
While we may often thank people verbally, the written word can often be even more
powerful because someone has taken the time to write their appreciation.  A letter
can also be re-read and treasured, creating joy and love that will
continue to ripple out into the universe.
3. Take a Gratitude Walk
This is a particularly useful practice when you’re feeling down or filled with
stress and worry. Set aside 20 minutes (or longer if you can) and walk in your
neighborhood, through a park, around your office, or somewhere in nature.,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNGwFxpFHzyCjQPBl7oqwvdCZgUeAA&ust=1388774807239183
As you walk, consider the many things for which you are grateful . . .
nurturing relationships, material comforts, the body that allows you
to experience the world, the mind that allows you to really understand yourself,
and your essential spiritual nature. Breathe, pause, and be grateful for the air that is
filling your lungs and making your life possible.
Pay attention to your senses – everything you’re seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling,
and maybe even tasting – and see how many things you can find to feel grateful for.
This is a powerful way to shift your mood and open to the flow of
 abundance that always surrounds you.,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNHeftX713UNqhypPE26jobyut3sfA&ust=1388766113428984

Prevention: Brain & Liver Damage

1.No Breakfast.
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
It causes multiple brain shrink age and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4.High Sugar consumption.
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5.Air Pollution.
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our 20 body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6.Sleep Deprivation.
Sleep allows our brain to rest... Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells...
7.Head covered while sleeping.
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8.Working your brain during illness.
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9.Lacking in stimulating thoughts.
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10.Talking Rarely.
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage.
1.Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.

2.Not urinating in the morning.

3.Too much eating.

4.Skipping breakfast.

5.Consuming too much medication.

6.Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food colouring, and artificial sweetener.
7.Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8.Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'

Loving Our Elders

Man also goes through the cycle of second childhood when he grows old. What pains me is that the current generation has a care free attitude, and leaving their parents in not-so-good situation at home. please remember that When one grows old the mental and physical capacities go down - here is when he/she needs help and hand holding. The present generation is leading a hi-fy life but never cares for the elderly parents who patiently wait for a few words from them - the parents live in solitude expecting someone to speak to them and make them feel happy and wanted in this world

I have always come across people saying that its a headache to take care of elders - I would think within myself - imagine if the same would have been thought by your parents when you were a kid.

Every month sending money from abroad or from the city that you live in, does not fulfill the void created by feeling lonely and wanting to be talked to,listened to,cared for. We have to make them feel that the world is still wanting you and is a better place to lead a life to the fullest.stand beside your parents because they had a dream with you, they did so much for you. Most important what you are today is only for your parents not anyone else in the world. Look your parents with Love and care.
