The model has a number of futuristic accessories like shape-shifting – which they call 'alive geometry', and two different driving modes – 'boost', which lets you drive with the help of augmented-reality and 'ease' which retracts the steering wheel and goes into complete autonomy. Without car panels, all necessary information is projected on the windshield. Its body is constructed out of a combination of carbon fiber and plastic. And the wheels are nothing like we've ever seen before, they are covered by the flexible bodywork which stretches when necessary to accommodate them.
BMW is celebrating its 100th anniversary by revealing the 'Vision Next 100', the brand's very first autonomous vehicle. It anticipates the future of the brand, the last of the three German luxury automakers to introduce an autonomous car.
