Why Staying organized helps?

Staying organized has many advantages in terms of having more time for yourself and family; in terms of saving money; peace of mind, better health, balanced life and improved professional/Social life.

Below are some considerations on how to be more Organized and consequently get the benefits mentioned above.

How to stay organized?

1.     Use files or folders to place all your Personal documents. Segregate your documents and place different kind of documents in different files. For example utility bills, educational documents and purchase receipts to be placed in three different files. If you want you can scan (or take a picture from your mobile) and put it in your email for quick reference. Make sure your password is safe! Advantage: Saves time and avoid stress to find the relevant document.

2.    Differentiate between urgent and important tasks. Important tasks sooner or later will come out to be either very fruitful (if you have given them proper attention) or would be a complete disaster (if you have avoided them). Advantage: Attending Urgent tasks in timely manner will ensure healthy outcome in terms of family, personal, financial or professional life. You may want to read my article at

3.    You need to closely observe your Time stealers. the routine tasks which takes away a lot of time but do not produce real good results should be optimized. Advantage: You will have more control on your time and arrange it for family & self matters.

4.    Place your things at right locations. Allocate proper drawers, boxes, cabinets, Files, balcony for accessories. Advantage: you don't have to waste your time when you need something.

5.    Google Calendar is a great service which sends you email and SMS for any event which you store in your online Calendar. You can set reminders for next car service, tires replacement, remembering birthdays & anniversaries and so on. Advantage: you will save money by avoiding disasters (car malfunctioning etc), you will have healthy family relations (birthdays etc)

6.    Make a to-do list. Maintain it on daily/weekly basis. Use 'post-it' notes for shopping list. Advantage: Critical tasks will not be missed. Unnecessary market revisits will be avoided.

7.    If you are Muslim, your Prayers timings can make you punctual and give you the convenience to organize a lot of events in-between two prayers. You can become a role model for others by being organized this way.

Stop Complaining Start Achieving

Your complaining attitude takes you away from your success. In fact it won't be wrong if I co-relate this with Newton's law that complaining and achieving success are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. This means that the more you complain about your circumstances the more you move away from your destination and vice versa. On top of that, if you keep complaining, you will give birth to two more mental diseases which are 'blaming' and 'criticizing'. When you don't like your circumstances you start finding faults in people around you and then you start blaming and criticizing them for your failures. Hence all three diseases, complaining, blaming and criticizing strengthen their roots in your brain and eventually this negative attitude becomes your personality trait. When you complain you waste your precious time. You build negative energy which piles up in your brain stealing your peace of mind leading to chronic psychological disorders hence it's a concrete physical, mental and emotional loss which is no way closer to any kind of benefit. On the contrary, if you are a hard working soul, you believe in your skills instead of luck. You believe in the  power of Now. You believe in power of making things happen instead of waiting for things to happen. Your analytical skills give you the luxury to break down the bigger problem into smaller problems and then you start fixing each problem one by one, moving near to your ultimate goal slowly and steadily.  So now is the time to decide whether you would like to live as a loser by complaining, blaming and criticizing OR live like a successful chap, the one who doesn't waste the time by looking in the past, the one who does not have a negative thought process, the one who is visionary and the one who once make a commitment then focuses on it all the way till the task is accomplished.   Complaining causes draining of energies and you are in position to lose your powers in this world of competition.

What goes around comes around is not a new insight. It is something most of us intuitively know but easily forget, as we attempt to hold on to most things which come to us. What we don't realise is the ripple effect can easily become the cripple effect. Everything we think and do not only ripples out into the world, it also creates an impression on our own consciousness inside.
If one day you decide to get really angry (very unrelaxing) at someone, then you create a memory of your irritation and carve a kind of scar or groove on your consciousness (non-physical of course). Within this scar or groove is a recording of the image of the person as you have decided to perceive them, and the energy of your anger surrounding that image. Remember, you put it there, not them. Two days later you see the same person and that triggers the image and the anger which you have already recorded within. The emotional turbulence inside your consciousness makes it very hard for you to remain positive, connect and communicate effectively, positively and harmoniously with them.
In effect you are crippled and clouded by your own emotion. Most of us experience this, sometimes many times a day, but refuse to see that we cripple ourselves, preferring to blame the other person. Which is why we can stay crippled for a long time and not even realise it.

  • Spend a half hour each evening before bed just meditating. Turn on the sounds of the ocean or a trickling river. Avoid letting anything else distract you.
  • Practice yoga if your body can handle it. Not only does your spiritual energy benefit from yoga, but you also release stress from your muscles by doing the poses.
2. Think before you speak. Pausing before responding to someone is helpful in controlling your temper. You quickly realize that the responses you choose impact you significantly. Pausing also helps you to think rationally instead of overreacting. This week, pay particular attention to pausing before responding in every situation.
  • If someone continuously does something to annoy you, avoid getting upset about it. Avoid similar situations and the accompanying annoyances in the future.
  • Take a moment and put yourself in the other person's shoes. How would you feel if they lost their temper with you? Always take the time to understand the impact of your actions on others.
3. Weigh the outcomes. What results could you get from choosing to stay calm versus acting out? This is an important question to consider, even before being faced with a trying situation.
  • Each day this week, ask yourself: Did I allow someone or something to really test my patience today? Consider how it affected you. Did you get a headache? Were you having difficulty concentrating for the rest of the day?
  • You may often find that losing your temper has far-reaching effects. Your conscience may be bothered after you realize how damaging your reaction was.
4. Be introspective. It's important to continue to look within yourself. What really causes you to react irrationally and lose your temper?
  • Be honest with yourself. If you've experienced something painful and are trying to mask it, that could be the cause.
  • Unresolved negative circumstances can prevent you from truly having inner peace. As a result, you may develop the tendency to release negative energy in counter-productive ways.
  • Take the time to talk to someone about how you're feeling. Talk to a family member, friend, or even a professional therapist.
  • Avoid allowing your feelings of frustration to fester and negatively impact your interactions with others.
Use these guidelines to find a place of perfect peace. After practicing these strategies consistently for a week, you'll find that you're automatically beginning to change your behavior. New York is 3 hrs ahead of California but it does not mean that California is slow, or that New York is fast. Both are  working based on their own "Time Zone."
Some one is still single. Someone got married and 'waited' 10 yrs before having a child, there is another who had a baby within a year of marriage.
Someone graduated at the age of 22, yet waited 5 years before securing a good job; and there is another who graduated at 27 and secured employment immediately !
Someone became CEO at 25 and died at 50 while another became a CEO at 50 and lived to 90 years.
Everyone works based on their 'Time Zone',
People can have things worked out only according to their pace.
Work in your "time zone".
Your Colleagues, friends, younger ones might "seem" to go ahead of you.
May be some might "seem" behind you.
Don't envy them or mock them, it's their 'Time Zone.'

Sheep Are Spectators Only - Be The Lion and Lead


Everyday that you don't take a step towards or into your purpose is a wasted day and time cannot be replaced. The sheep is just a spectator; BE THE LION and lead from the front. If God woke you up and deemed fit to continue to pump life into your lungs then you still have time to walk into your purpose. It doesn't take any effort to be a loser. We get mad at how others treat us but we don't hold accountable the person who set those standards; OURSELVES. Change your behavior towards yourself and stop living to just merely exist.
Be the Star of your Life

Don't volunteer your life to mediocrity. Shift your awareness towards value of what you can bring to the table of life. Start living and stop being concerned about what others will think. You will never know what you are capable of until you step out of your comfort zone and apply the gifts you have been given. No one else can sing your song and the world will never know your words if all you do is BAAHHHHHH like a sheep! When you stop conforming to your broken thoughts and views, then and only then can you ROAR like a damn LION! The only voice who has the power to stop you from greatness is your own!

We have all been victims of our circumstances. Take those hits and get back up. If you are down right now but you can still look up then you have not been defeated! Someone needs to see you overcome your situation, someone needs to see how you took that hit and still got back up! Failure only happens when you quit. Get back up and get back in that damn ring! Don't get sidetracked by what everyone else around you is doing, don't be like them; that role and position is already taken. Your time is valuable and the one wasting the most of it is you!
