Inspiration: Universe is the Mirror

Having the courage and patience to put out the vibrations of what you desire to be, as opposed to where you are in the present, is the hardest thing to do any one can have. Always keep in mind - WHERE you are and WHO you are in your life right now is based on your past intentions, thoughts, feeling and actions. But you can change your future by changing your thoughts, feelings and actions.

Your current level of results is nothing more than the residual outcome of your past thoughts, feelings and actions. This has nothing to do with what you are capable of or you are capable of becoming. You are far more capable of achieving best and encouraging results. If you do once, you will continue to create the same things over and over again in your life.

Here is an interesting way of looking at life. If you look at your current results, and compare you can see what you have been up to for the past five years or so will be almost same. What you have been thinking, feeling and acting upon is reflected in your current results. Look at your body, your bank account, your house, your car, your relationships, your job and what vibrations you have been offering, because your results are nothing more than a feedback mechanism - a mirror of what you have been thinking, feeling and acting.

Think about a mirror for a moment. A mirror does not judge, it does not say if something is "good" or "bad", "right" or "wrong". It does not edit or delete. A mirror just reflects back whatever is put in front of it. Do you follow this metaphor?
The universe is also like mirror. The universal mirror is exciting. It reflect back what is put in front of universe. you get what you desire you know you are on your game. When you have less than pleasing results, that's just the universal mirror reflecting back to you. Now you have the opportunity to adjust your thinking, feeling and actions. Getting upset because you have messed up your life in any area is wasting precious time. The mirror is there to give you a wake-up call. It is saying "Hey, you're broke. Are you ready to do something about it and get want you want?" go ahead and start taking action to improve yourself.

Do I get upset when I experience less than pleasing results? But the difference between now and my past is I am willing to let it go – I can act. I use the experience as a wake-up call to find a better way. And I always find a better way, because I am looking for it. You can do the something extraordinary from your experience library. Put in front of universal mirror what you desire and you will get it.

How to Get Comfortable With Being Uncomfortable

CREDIT: Getty Images
I've been an entrepreneur for seven years. Midway through the fourth year, things were coming to a head. I wasn't getting enough sleep. I wasn't exercising, and I wasn't keeping my mind clear with meditation.
In the middle of what felt like my most stressful month of my life, my most senior employee resigned. While I was complaining about the debacle to an entrepreneur friend, he called me out: "Get comfortable with the feeling that you have right now."
Confused, I asked, "What feeling?" He replied, "Feeling uncomfortable. Get comfortable feeling uncomfortable."
He stopped me in my tracks. He was right. We all need to get more comfortable with being uncomfortable. We're soft!
Here are 7 ways to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, according to one of the toughest and most resilient people I know, Green Beret Jason Van Camp.

1. Start.

The first step is always the most uncomfortable. All you have to do is show up. The battle is half won if you just show up. I get it. It's uncomfortable to start something.
If possible, make the decision to start on your own rather than have someone make that decision for you. Once you start, you are going to want to quit immediately.
Whenever you start something, it sucks. You start a diet, it sucks. You start working out, it sucks.
Remind yourself that you made a decision. You are already committed and there is no going back.

2. Don't quit.

You've decided to start. You're not seeing results. It's difficult. You want to quit. It's OK. Just keep pushing forward.
You're going to start thinking of a way out where you can quit and save face. Don't do it. Don't give yourself an out. Just don't. Don't give yourself any options. Either you succeed or you fail.
No excuses.
The point when you are just about to give up is the precise moment when the other guy gives up. At some point you are going to ask yourself, "Why am I doing this?" You better have an answer. What is driving you? Is it something someone said or did to you? Is it a competition?
Is it a challenge? Is it something that you have to prove to yourself? Is it just pride? Whatever it is, it had better be powerful.

3. Push yourself past your comfort zone.

At some point, you are going to say to yourself, "I've never done this before" or "I don't know what I'm doing."
We've all been there. Here's a trick: Don't say it out loud. Just pretend to be confident. Fake it till you make it. It's scary, but I promise you this: When it's over, you are going to say, "It wasn't as bad as I thought it was." Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will.

4. Embrace "the suck."

The situation is bad--deal with it. And don't just deal with it--open your arms and welcome it as you would an old friend. You know him well.
Just when you think things couldn't get any worse, he shows up. "The suck" is here to make you tougher. He's a friend that arrived to make you better. Instead of complaining, celebrate the blessing that is the suck.
If you are embracing the suck by yourself, laugh at how ridiculous the situation is. You are building your mental and physical toughness points. If you are embracing the suck with others, you've just made new best friends for life.
Embracing the suck in a group is a powerful bonding experience.

5. Be around like-minded people.

Create a support network. Talk about your experiences. The worse the experience it is to you, the better the story it is to everyone else.
Soon, you will be seeking uncomfortable experiences to share with your friends. Be a good storyteller.

6. Recognize your improvements.

Track your progress. Revel in it. You are now a changed person. You know it because you see it. Build your confidence by going back to what before was uncomfortable and go through the experience again.
You are seeing your progress in real time. By nature, you are going to want to push the envelope to find out your boundaries. You will find yourself saying, "I wish it would suck more." It's our human nature to know what we are able to overcome.

7. Rinse. Repeat.

There's an old Russian saying, povtorenie mat ucheniya, which means "repetition is the mother of learning."
The more you perform the same activity, the more confident you become. Confidence is a tangible thing--it comes from practice and repetition.

These Self-Lacing Nike Shoes Cost $720

back-to-future-shoes1

By now, chances are you have heard about Nike’s self-lacing shoes, every nerd’s dream ever since Marty wore them in Back to the Future II. After netting millions for Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson research charity earlier, the shoes are finally about to hit retail but the biggest hurdle will be pricing itself.

Priced at $720, as revealed by the YouTuber Jacques Slade, the HyperAdapt 1.0 shoes are cheaper than the previously expected $1000 range. Yet, even for the final price we guess a lot of people will be willing to tie their own shoes every once in a while.
back-to-future-shoes1
Of course, the shoes are a taste of the future, the only way there is until China pulls of something with cheap labor. The laces self-adjust when the owner wears them. The tightness can be readjusted by the button on shoe’s tongue.
Of course, it also means you’ll have another thing to charge though, one you likely wouldn’t mind. The HyperAdapt takes 3 hours to charge fully, and can last for up to two weeks on that charge. In pure future fashion, they charge via wireless charging.

The shoes arrive later this month, on both retail and Nike’s online stores. They’ll be available in a choice of three colors.

Come to think of it, $720 will still be a bargain for people who were willing to buy the early versions for as high as $100,000, with proceeds going to Michael J. Fox’s charity (eventually $6.75 million were raised). God knows how many people will lose their savings over them.

Now, we can all solemnly wait for that hoverboard.

You Can Now Translate Roman Urdu/Hindi to English Using Google!

Google’s magical little search box is much more than just a way to check if the internet is working or not. You can use it to perform calculations, check currency rates, and translate texts as well, be it in the normal Urdu script or even when written in Roman Urdu.

Google Translate has been around for quite a while, letting you translate texts from one language to another. It supports over a hundred languages, including Urdu.

However, the lack of Urdu-script keyboards somewhat curtails our ability to translate a piece of text from Urdu to English or from Urdu to any other language.

Fortunately, there is a nifty little trick that you can use to get Google to translate Roman Urdu— Urdu words written using English alphabets— in English, or any other language you want to.

Apparently, Google has trained its search algorithm to detect Hindi words written in Roman English. Since a lot of words between the two languages are similar, you can use it for Urdu as well. I have tried it out and it worked great for the most part, and almost all of the words I tried to translate gave me a correct result.
Here is how you can do it.

Translate Roman Urdu to English

Simply type the Urdu word you want to translate to English, followed by “in English”. However, this seldom works. If this doesn’t work for you, head over to the next point.
translate-1
You can also achieve the same results with “Translate Hindi to English” term on Google. It will quickly pull up a nice Google Translate box right inside the search results. Write a word in the first box and it will translate it as best as it can for you in the next box.
translate-2
It should be mentioned here that Google should incorporate the same functionality for Urdu as well and not just Hindi as it does here. But given how most phrases in Urdu and Hindi sound the same, it works for most common phrases used in the subcontinent. Knowing Google, it may only be a matter of time before it does so.

It also works inside Google’s mobile app:
translate-3
Google was excellent at detecting single words but messed up when translating sentences, or even a couple of words.

Nonetheless, it is definitely impressive. It is also one of the best solutions I have found to quickly translating an Urdu word to English without having to search for the word written in Urdu script.

8 Ways to Interrupt a Talkative Person

Once they open their mouths, some folks don’t know how to shut them. They seem unable to differentiate monologue from dialogue, dissertation from conversation, minutiae from significant details.

When you’re in such a “conversation,” you may initially think of yourself as a good listener. However, it’s not long before you realize that you’ve become the captive audience for one who will drone on and on for as long as you allow it to happen.

Giving indirect hints that “enough is enough” usually doesn’t work. Hence, in such situations, you not only have a right to interrupt, you also have an obligation to do so to maintain your sanity.
So how do you do it without coming across as rude?

Here are eight tips on how to interrupt an incessant talker with as much tact as possible:

Segue into another topic.
“That’s some story. But now I’d like to talk about something more upbeat.”

Be direct.
“I need to interrupt you. I want to tell you what happened to me yesterday.”

Use the person’s name (always an attention-getter), then redirect.
“Jen, I get what you’re saying; it happened to me too.”

Speak about your time situation.
“Jared, I only have another minute to chat.”

Help the person move forward.
“Bob, what’s the bottom line here?”

Give honest feedback(with a light touch, if you can).
“Maria, I haven’t been able to get a word in edgewise. Time to let me talk.”

Make an ending statement.
“I gotta go. I’m already late for an appointment. Talk to you another time.”

When all else fails,
there’s always the bathroom excuse.

If you think it’s rude, crude or insulting to implement these strategies, think again. They’re simply assertive ways to obtain your freedom when you’re being held hostage.

I Shall Be Happy If ...

"I'll be happy if ____", or "I'll be happy when ____". Will you be totally satisfied after your condition is fulfilled.

Are you happy? If not, what is it that you feel you need to be happy? happiness is a state. And, have the ability to access that state at any time we choose.

If you could access happiness anytime you wanted  you could change your life dramatically for the good and forever. Your mind processes information and thinking patterns develop and become semi-permanent.

Most people will think long and hard about changing from their normal behavior. The 'conscious' mind always accomplishes its goal of keeping everything the same. By doing so, it supports a continuation of your current beliefs and everything stays the same. If you believe that you need to have something, do something, or be something to be happy, you'll be right.
No matter what happens around you, you're 'conscious' mind will find ways to support your belief that you can be happy now. you have to make a conscious decision to change the way you think - not only to thinking, but posture, body language, the emotions, feeling. mind is "spinning" and "racing". You teach mind how to control those emotions so that they become positive.

These are words like; should, shouldn't, must, musn't, have to, can't, etc. These words express a necessity, possibility (or lack of), belief, or knowledge that is non-truth-functional; not true in and of themselves. When we put confinements upon ourselves that we "have" to do something, then we feel forced without options.

When a person fully realizes that they have options and the power to choose, then they live a much happier life. Once a person learns this then they are already happier and can learn to be happy for no reason. be something, do something, or have something to be happy. You are now free to be like a child of 4-years-old. They just are happy. When their friend hurts them, they cry and, five minutes later, they are back playing like nothing happened. They have a curiosity that knows no bounds and they get excited and appreciate the little things.

The beautiful thing is that you can have it by remolding your thoughts and thinking patterns.

11 Mistakes That Make You Old Quickly

Aging gracefully comes easier to some, while not so easy to others. Sometimes it's a factor of just having good genes, but often they are the decisions we make during our lifetime that determine how fast we'll appear to age. You may not realize it, but most people commit mistakes every single day that make them age faster than they should, harming their skin and quickening the appearance of old age.
Here 11 mistakes we all make that age us.
1. You try to do too many things at once (Multitasking)
If your to-do list is longer than your arm and you are dealing with the stress of juggling many projects or tasks at once, you're doing yourself a disservice, says Raymond Casciari, Chief Medical Officer at St. Joseph Hospital. Several studies have shown that day-to-day stress triggers the release of free radicals in the body, which damage cells and quicken the ageing process. The good doctor suggests focusing on one task at a time.
2. You rarely pass on dessert.Other than being an obviously unhealthy habit, having a sweet tooth may be adding years to your face, as sugar molecules attach themselves to protein fibers in our cells, a process known as glycation. This can lead to an ashen look, dark circles around the eyes, a loss of facial contours, wrinkles, puffiness and bigger pores. So if you want to hold on to that youthful glow, don't over-do the sugar.

3. You get less than 5-6 hours of sleep a night. Not getting enough sleep doesn't only give you black bags under your eyes, but has been linked, through several studies, to a shorter life span. According to Dr. Casciari, the founder of a sleep lab at St. Joseph Hospital, getting about 7 hours of sleep is optimal. So if you find yourself nodding off, low on energy or finding it hard to focus, you're probably not sleeping enough, and it may age you faster than you'd like.
4. You spend most of your day sitting.Sitting and leading a sedentary lifestyle are some of the worst problems for aging people in the modern world. Most people do very little physical activity, and the result is an increased risk of kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, cancer and of course obesity.
Studies show that people who exercised 150 minutes a week or more lived 10-13 years longer on average.
5. You don't use any eye creams. The skin around your eyes is thinner than the rest of your face, and that is why it usually starts showing signs of aging sooner. Keeping the eye area moisturised can take years off your face. The best creams contain Retin A, which is a form of vitamin A. But you can also add antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C.
6. You only use sunscreen when on vacation. If you only use sunblock at the beach, you may actually be doing more harm to your skin while running errands and driving than a whole day spent on that beach. Skin damage accumulates, and the sun's rays are the #1 reason for ageing skin. Dr Taylor, associate professor of dermatology, recommends that you use an SPF between 30-50 for daily protection.
7. You wear too much makeup. This is not a judgement, just a fact. Many make-up products are oil based, and can clog your pores and cause outbreaks. Overusing skin products with fragrances, alcohol agents and chemicals that irritate may cause premature lines and wrinkles.
8. You sleep with your face against the pillow.Sleeping on your stomach of side with your face mashed into the pillow may create wrinkles and make your aging process look like it's going faster. Our facial skin gets less flexible with time, and so as we lay on the pillow night after night, our skin may not spring back and smooth the lines you had, and so the pillow can leave permanent marks on our face. So sleep on your back or invest in a satin pillowcase that'll keep your skin smooth.
9. You keep your house very warm. When you turn up the thermostat or light a fireplace because it's cold, it's tempting to making it hot and toasty inside. But the problem is that the thermostat, and also the fireplace, suck moisture out of the air in the house, which leads to dry skin. If this goes on, as indeed in cold climates it may, it will lead to damaged skin with ageing effects. So invest in a humidifier, and set to 40-60% humidity. This will free your skin from the itching, scratching and even flaking that comes with dry air. Another way to go is placing a wet towel over a radiator or a bowl of cold water in the room.
10. You purse your lips
Drinking your beverages through a straw can help you avoid staining your teeth, but just like squinting can give you wrinkles around the eyes, so can pursing your lips give you wrinkles around the mouth.
By the way, this also often happens when you smoke a cigarette.

11. You've stopped eating fat altogether.
Some amounts of fat are required to maintaining a youthful appearance and feeling, according to Franci Cohen, nutritionist and exercise physiologist from Brooklyn, NY. Heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids, which you can find in oily fish such as mackerel or salmon, as well as nuts like walnuts and flax seeds, will keep your skin plump and supple. This will prevent wrinkles while also boosting the health of both your brain and heart.

9 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings

The following is an excerpt from Sarah Cooper's new book, 100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings (October 4, Andrews McMeel)
In a brainstorming meeting, the pressure of coming up with incredible new ideas can be debilitating. Luckily, the last thing most corporations want is new ideas.
During these largely pointless exercises, the point is to contribute using the mere gravitas of your presence, make other people's ideas seem like your ideas, and look like a true leader by questioning the efficiency of the whole process.
Here are 9 tricks to make you look like you're the creative force on your team.
  1. Leave to get water and ask if anyone needs anything
image1-4
Just before the meeting starts, get up and ask if anyone needs anything. People will think you're so thoughtful, kind, and giving, plus you'll be able to disappear for 10 minutes no questions asked. Even if no one wants anything, return with bottles of water, soda, and snacks.
Your colleagues will feel compelled to start drinking and snacking, and your foresight will make them think you can really predict the future.

  1. Grab a pad of sticky notes and start drawing
image2-2
While the topics are being introduced, grab one of those sticky note pads and start drawing meaningless flowcharts. Your colleagues will look over at you with worried interest, wondering how you're coming up with so many complex ideas even before you know what this meeting is for.

  1. Make an analogy that's so simple it sounds deep
image3
When everyone is trying to define the problem, make an analogy about baking a cake, or something just as completely unrelated. Your colleagues will nod their heads in agreement, even if they really don't understand how what you're saying is related to what they're talking about. Talking completely over their heads will make you seem wildly transcendent and intimidatingly creative, even though the truth is you really just like cake.

  1. Ask if we're asking the right questions
image4
Nothing makes you seem smarter than when you question the questions by asking if they're the right questions. If someone responds by asking you what you think the right questions are, say you just asked one.

Sidebar: How to strategically shoot down small ideas
Wonder if an idea seems too small so your colleagues see you as a big thinker and a gamechanger.
Use one of these phrases:
  • But how is it disruptive?
  • Is this 10x?
  • Is this the future?
  • I thought that was dead.
  • What's the big Win?
  • But isn't Apple doing that?

  1. Use an idiom
image5
Using an idiom to question an idea is a subtle, smart way of questioning it. Here are some idioms to choose from:
  • Isn't that gilding the lily?
  • Isn't that putting lipstick on a pig?
  • Seems like we're polishing a turd.

  1. Develop a quirky, creative habit that 'gets your juices flowing'
image6
Develop a quirky habit that 'helps you think' and 'gets your creative juices flowing.' This could be anything from showing up in your pyjamas, meditating on the floor, jogging on the spot, throwing a ball against the wall, air drumming with your favourite drumsticks, or all of those things at the same time. Even if you're not actually coming up with any ideas, your colleagues will be intimidated by your uncontrollable creative energy.

Sidebar: How to strategically shoot down big ideas
Wonder if an idea seems too big so your superiors see how much you care about company resources.
Use one of these phrases:
  • Is it too disruptive?
  • How does this fit into the roadmap?
  • This seems like a pivot.
  • Isn't that a non-starter?
  • Isn't that out of scope?
  • But how would you test that?
  • Will that work internationally?

  1. Say how you think the CEO would respond
image7
Make your colleagues think that you have a very close relationship with the CEO by bringing up how you think she would respond to an idea. Mention your CEO by her first name. Say you might run this by her during your next powwow. Congratulate everyone for coming up with something she'd like. By associating yourself so closely with the CEO, people will start to think of you as some kind of CEO-in-training.
  1. Ask if we're creating the right framework, platform, or model
image8
You will always appear as if you're thinking bigger than everyone else by bringing up a framework for moving forward, or a model of thinking, or how we can turn this into a platform. It's a very meta way of blowing everyone's minds and masking the fact that you have no idea what everyone's talking about.
  1. When everyone seems to like an idea, yell out 'Ship it!'
image9
There'll come a point when everyone seems to be really excited about an idea or direction. At this point you should try to be the first person to yell out 'Ship it!' Sure, it's a funny thing to say that will make people laugh, but doing this will also convey some authority on your part to both end the meeting and make a final decision, even though you have no power to do either.
100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings will be released October 4th. Pre-order it here and read more at 100Tricks.com.

Changing Bad Habits!

Many a time actually we are much closer to achieving goals and dreams. Many people also promise themselves to quit smoking... but after a few days of success, give up in to the cravings and start puffing again. Why is it so hard to achieve any success in life?
Here's the answer: Because your HABITS are a thousand times more powerful than your PLANS. And if your plans are not coming too strong, it simply means you have got habits that actually KEEP you away from reaching your goals. That means just one thing: If you want to achieve your goals, don't work on your PLANS. Instead, spend time and effort to re-wire your HABITS. If you don't change your habits, then you won't change your future!
There are many different ways to gain the habits that will lead you to success, wealth, good health, and abundance.
MOTIVATION is Great, But Not Enough on Its Own - Motivational speakers have the power to make their audiences what they TRULY want out of life, set goals to achieve what they want, and take bold, massive action to reach those goals. But motivation doesn't last. you'll need motivation EVERY SINGLE DAY for it to be effective. Missing your daily dose can set you back quickly. You have to be prepared for a lifelong commitment of learning, acting, and adjusting – and for most of us, that's time we just don't have.
WILLPOWER Sounds Good, But Don't Depend on It - studies suggest that willpower actually doesn't exist. resorting to willpower means you're basically fighting against yourself. In other words, your conscious mind comes into conflict with your UNCONSCIOUS mind. And when you're in conflict, you achieve nothing. That's how it works.
HYPNOSIS - By Far the Fastest, Most Effective Path to Success. More and more people are turning to hypnosis to overcome their bad habits... with surprisingly successful results. - hypnotism isn't a magic trick. it works by re-wiring your UNCONSCIOUS mind.
Hypnotism gets rid of those bad habits and distractions, and helps you focus ONLY on the beliefs, situations, actions, and decisions that move you closer to success with every step you take. Hypnotism works almost INSTANTLY, and its positive effects last your entire life. it gets much more work done in much less time. It's a faster, easier, and definitely cheaper way to reap the benefits of hypnosis, and apply it to all areas of your life. Hypnosis is definitely worth a try.

Having A Bad Day?

We almost always never see it coming. It crawls up on us like a night thief and ends up stealing our joy the whole day.

Whether it's an unproductive day at work, boring day at school or just waking up on the wrong side of the bed, a bad day can leave you wishing you could fast-forward time.

Since you're not an alien from Jupiter or in possession of a time travel machine, you're better off facing reality.
These tips should set you off in the right path.

Accept The Situation: This might not seem as the best thing to do – since a bad day leaves you in denial. But the more you try to fight the situation, the bigger it comes back attacking you from different angles. Accept the obvious and you'll reduce the extent to which the misfortunes will affect you.

Relax Your Mind: While this might prove impossible at the time when the world seem to be upside down (In your mind), if you eventually manage to get your mind settled, you're two steps towards getting over everything. Listening to good music can get you quickly into a calm state. You can go deeper by meditating.

Confront The Situation: We are often times the engineer behind a bad day. Figuring out the possible reason(s) behind it is arguably the quickest way to putting smile back on your face. Think a little deep about it. Could it have been the extra stress at work? Or as a result of a break up? A bad day could also be caused by pressure or excessive thinking and worrying. If you're able to figure what started it all, pat yourself on the back, you're good to go.

Drink Tea: No, not tea exactly, but if that's what gives you good feeling and takes away negative energy, get on with it. For some, its chocolate, ice cream, taking a shower (no pun intended). Do whatever gives you positive vibes and viola – you're good to good.

These are just a few ideas about dealing with a bad day. Hope you don't mind sharing what works for you?

8 Ways to Learn to Like Yourself and Live the Life You Want

8 Ways to Learn to Like Yourself and Live the Life You Want
When you like the person you are, making life choices becomes easier because you trust your own judgment. You recognize that you have the power to create whatever it is that you want for yourself and your family.

Try these strategies to raise your self-esteem:

1. Stay in tune with your thoughts. Notice when you're thinking negatively about yourself. When you can identify the types of situations in which you tend to put yourself down, you can then do something about them.
2. Squelch unhelpful thinking. After you take notice of the situations that trigger those negative thoughts, you can set out to stop such thoughts or at least divert them. Do so by developing your own imagery technique.
  • Imagine a stop sign and tell yourself to "stop negativity now."
  • Visualize that you're at the beach or your grandmother's house, where you always feel relaxed and self-assured.
  • Another way to quell unwelcome ideas is to seek out something positive in the situations you find challenging. For example, if you feel you're socially inept, make it a point to help others open up to you by asking questions about their work or hobbies. You'll likely find some common ground for a great conversation.
  • Learning to stop negative thinking increases your self-confidence and emphasizes that you choose your own path rather than a recurring, unfocused thought pattern.
3. Know your strengths. Occasionally reflecting on what you're good at will help you see that you're cherished, important, and helpful to yourself and others. List everything you can think of that you do well. Be generous. If nobody makes a good sandwich like you do, write it down. If you consistently win at golf, include it.
  • Make your list longer and longer. Keep adding to it. Challenge yourself to add one strength a month to your list. As your list grows, so will your positive feelings about yourself.
4. Underscore your unique or quirky aspects. If you can recite the name of every major Manga comic book or all the elements on the chemistry table, you're a truly unique individual. Embrace these special talents with the care and attention they deserve. Plus, there's likely someone out there looking for the off-beat talent or knowledge you hold.
5. Accept your positives and negatives. Learn to accept the parts of you that you've tried to reject in the past. See those less desirable aspects as insurance that you're a member of the human race.
  • Personal acceptance helps you see that everything in life has a delicate balance and all parts of you create the very special "you" that you are.
6. Stay focused to live your best life. Although it's wise to be aware of your less than positive aspects, focusing on the good things will help you excel and continue accomplishing your goals. Keep moving ahead.
7. Every morning, make the decision to be in a "good mood." It's a lot easier to accept who you are when you feel good about this day. Open yourself to the possibilities around you.
8. Set goals that you want to accomplish. Rather than working toward what your parents or friends think you should do, search within yourself what you'd like to work for in life and then go for it. Life is a lot more fun when you choose what you want.
Liking yourself allows you to share with others all the good you have in your heart. And the more you do, the more positive energy you have flowing in to your life. Set out today to put these tips into action. You'll enjoy your best life ever!
