Health: A Raw ONION on bottom of the feet to take away illness !

During the night, I started feeling good. I mean really good! I felt tingly, like my blood was being cleansed (it was). It was so cool!My bedroom smells like a casserole, but it was totally worth it!
Here is the deal:So last night Evan (11) was keeping everyone awake with his cough. I got up, went to the kitchen and sliced a purple,... make me cry onion, at 3am. I got some snug socks and put it on the bottom of his feet. To boost my own immunity, I decided to try this too. During the rest of the night, I started feeling good. I mean really good! I felt tingly, like my blood was being cleansed. It was so cool!
 

This works in 2 ways.
1.) Onions are known to absorb toxins. In fact, during the days of the Plague in England, folks would keep chopped onions around to absorb toxins and clean the air. This helped protect them, against getting the plague.
NEVER SAVE AN ONION. It will absorb all the toxins in the air of your refrigerator. Eat that and you eat the toxins. Instead: Chop your left over onion, put it on a plate and keep it in your kitchen as a natural air purifier. I do this all the time! If someone is ill, place a chopped onion on the night stand, next to the bed. They'll be better in the morning. I placed the remaining onion, next to Evan last night.
Onions are toxin absorbers. Thus why they are great internal mops for the body. Eat plenty of onions!
 

2.) The onion and garlic families are anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. Placing them on the bottom of the foot gives them access to your internal organs through meridians in your body. The onion can be directly delivered. Transdermal delivery (on the skin) is one of the best delivery mechanisms, as it will bypass the stomach acids and go directly into the blood. The bottom of the feet and the forearm are great places to put high powered foods and essential oils into the body. Sliced garlic on the bottom of the feet will work nicely too.

Evan woke up cough free and hopped on the bus this morning.

Story: How Big Is Your Frying Pan


Are you setting your sights too low?
I heard of a woman who fished all morning and never caught anything. But a man in the next boat was reeling in a fish every time she glanced over. Then, to make matters worse, he kept the small ones and threw the large ones back into the water!
She couldn't stand it any longer. She called over to him, "How come you're throwing the big ones back?"
He answered by holding up a little frying pan.
We may think that is silly but, in our minds, don't we all hold up frying pans? Every time we throw away a big idea, a magnificent dream or an exciting possibility, are we measuring it against a small frying pan?
We talk about making more money or be­coming more successful, but I believe that this con­cept works in other, and sometimes more important areas, as well. We can love more than we ever dreamed possible! We can be happier and live more fully than we ever thought we could! What we can do or become is limited more by the size of the frying pan in our minds than by actual circum­stances.
Author Brian Tracy reminds us that "you are not what you think you are, but what you think, you are." Think big. Dream big. Pray big... and look for big results. It all begins with changing the size of your thinking.
What would happen if you threw away the frying pan you have been using to measure the size of your dreams, and replaced it with a larger one? What would happen if you decided that it may really be possible to have a better relationship with the one you love, or that you actually can be hap­pier and more fulfilled than you are now? What would hap­pen if you decided never to settle for anything less than what you truly want? What if, from now on, you threw the little fish back and kept the big ones?
And what if you decided to begin today?

Story: The drowning Cat

A wise old man was sitting at the river bank when he saw a cat that had fallen into the water, flailing around, trying to save itself from drowning.
The man decided to save the cat. He stretched his hand out but was scratched by the cat. He pulled his hand back in pain.
However, a minute later he stretched his hand out again to save the cat, but it scratched him again, and again he pulled his hand back in pain.
Another minute later he was yet again trying for the third time!!
A man, who was nearby watching what was happening, yelled out: "O wise man, you have not learned your lesson the first time, nor the second time, and now you are trying to save the cat a third time?"
The wise man paid no heed to that man's scolding, and kept on trying until he managed to save the cat.
He then walked over to the man, and patted his shoulder saying: "My son.. it is in the cat's nature to scratch, and it is in my nature to love and have sympathy. Why do you want me to let the cat's nature overcome mine !?!!
My son: Treat people according to your nature, not according to theirs, no matter what they are like and no matter how numerous are their actions that harm you and cause you hurt sometimes.
And do not pay heed to all the voices that loudly call out to you to leave behind your good qualities merely because the other party is not deserving of your noble actions.
When you live to give happiness to others, Allah Ta'ala will send you those who will live to give happiness to you.

Be beautiful in character and hearts will love you.
So never regret the moments you gave happiness to someone, even if that person did not deserve it.
And suffice in the fact that you have a Lord Who will reward you for good with good.

Story: The Bunnies and Their Mother




There was once a doe-rabbit who had many children. As a good mother, all day long she told them what was best for them: The herbs they should eat, the herbs they should reject, when they could go out, when they couldn’t even have a peep...

“Above all,” she said, “you pay attention to the date of the opening of the hunting season...”

“But how are we to know about it, if we don’t read the newspapers?” asked one of the bunnies.

“As soon as you hear gun shots, even in the distance, and barking dogs, you must run for shelter,” their mother warned.

One day, one of the youngest arrived at their burrow in a fright.
“I’ve heard shots, mother. Please hide me.”

The rabbit reassured him.
“So have I, but those are not gun shots. They are rocket flares. There’s a party taking place in the village. Can’t you hear the music played by the band? What do you want your ears for? As long as they are amusing themselves, we can be at rest.”

Some days later, the whole family was grazing when a sweet and wicked melody echoed in the air like a dancing snake... The Bunnies, who had never heard anything like it, looked inquisitively at their mother.
“We’d better go home,” she said, “and stay there for a long time.”

The same rabbit found it strange:
“But mother, couldn’t such sweet music be another party?”
“It’s no party at all. Hurry up. It’s Peter Sheeper, who plays the pipe and roams around scattering disaster. He sets traps all over the place, which tear us to pieces. Oh, I shiver at the thought of them!”

A little while later, the bunny came to his mother again, and he was in great distress: “I’ve seen men with guns. They must be hunters.”

“I’ve seen them, too” said his mother. “You mustn’t worry about these. They are forest guards and they are collecting the traps that Peter set, because they are forbidden by law. We are free now. However, it’s always good to be on guard.”

Life in the woods is certainly very dangerous. Just the things a rabbit must learn to keep himself from being shot!
Flash: Life is a continuous journey with full of experience. Its important for us to behave like wise men who learn from the mistakes of others and keep our eyes and senses open to learn new things continuously. However, there is nothing to be really afraid of. There is always a solution to most of the problems in our lives. Its only matter of analyzing the situation and consulting with the RIGHT people.

Today if think of one incident where things went wrong. You will then see what to learn from it. Even if 99% of it is another person's mistake, not think of that right now, but be focused only on what can we learn from it. Ensure to repeat this exercise for any other incidents that happen today. 7 Things A Strong Person Will Never Tolerate!



What makes a person resilient? How does anyone come through the fires of adversity a stronger, more driven version of themselves? Each person's life has a different path than their neighbors, so the answer can sometimes be long-winded.
 
Besides pinpointing and nurturing internal formations, it helps to be discriminating in how or who they allow to influence them. A beautiful flower needs fertile soil and to not be molested by predators and parasites.
 
There are people and situations that are very much like spiritual pests and predators. Below are listed major elements to avoid. Circumnavigating these will save you time and suffering. Life isn't only about recovering from bad situations.
 
Giving Up
 
A person shouldn't be judged on how they behave when everything is working out and going well. They should be measured by how they proceed when everything is against them.
 
How we handle suffering defines who we are as people and giving up is the worst option. Any self-reliant and capable person has had to learn this and won't allow someone to drag them down with their inaction or pity party.
 
An Unsupportive Partner
 
Your partner should be your biggest fan and a cornerstone in your personal support structure. It isn't fair when, after you have given your partner whatever they needed, they don't rise to meet your needs.
 
It isn't an unreasonable expectation to want the unwavering support of the person who claims they love you. Be sure to keep them informed as to what you are expecting or need. Life changes fast and no one is a mind reader after all.
 
Being Under-Valued
 
A truly resilient individual doesn't do anything for praise and recognition. But it always hurts when credit is not given where it is due. After working and trying to reach a goal or fulfill a promise, it stings terribly when others don't, or won't acknowledge your efforts and intentions.
 
Disrespect
 
No one likes this, but not everyone does something when debased. A strong-willed individual isn't afraid of necessary conflict. They understand that respect is one of the pillars holding up society.
 
Respect is a type of love and acknowledgement that everyone deserves. Any strong and productive person has worked hard to enforce their character and nurture themselves into what they are. Any attempt to drag them down will be stopped.
 
Emotionally Distant Romantic Partners
 
While it can be very trying to acknowledge and share our true selves, it has to be done. Strong people realize the power in vulnerability. For a spiritually capable and mentally focused person to grow close to another person, they have to know who that person is.
 
An unwillingness to try and trust will stand in the way of a relationship moving forward and being mutually beneficial. If the relationship is not a safe and nurturing place then you will move on to someone willing to try.
 
Jealousy
 
One of the ugliest traits, it has no place in the life of capable and thriving people. Jealousy is inherently disrespectful and self-defeating. If entertained, even in the slightest way, this trait can hijack a person's life.
 
Once jealousy is a standard way of thinking, the person will cease to grow and is guaranteed to hurt and detract from those around them. No one who has realized their potential, and the vast opportunities available throughout the universe, would willingly put that handicap on themselves or allow it around them.
 
Fake People
 
A person who can't acknowledge their needs and express themselves honestly are repellent to real, self aware people. While trying to sort out life's puzzles, who wants to have to worry about the hidden agendas of those around them.
 
Disingenuous people try their best to seem legitimate, but they can be spotted by the lack of forward movement in their lives, as well as an obsession with the perception of others. They try to fool everyone around them into believing their fantasies, spending as much time and resources as they can to achieve this.
 
The true nature of life isn't easy, but once we open up and start fundamentally connecting to the universe, the beauty and possibilities are made obvious and available. Fake people aren't motivated by internal growth or awareness, but only by external projections.

Group A Parents and Group B Children


Years back, poor
​and
illiterate  parents produced Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, Accountants, Lawyers, Architects,
Professors - whom I will refer to as Group A.

These Group A Children struggled on their own after Primary 6 or Grade 12, to become notable personalities. Most of them:
  • trekked to school barefooted
  • went to farms
  • ​f​etched water and firewood
  • cared for domesticated animals
  • did some work including trading after school to survive.
Now Group 'A' ,who have now become Parents themselves are producing  Group 'B'  Children
. These group B children are

  • pampered
  • helped in their homeworks or home assignments from nursery school through secondary schools to higher institutions.
  • chauffeur driven to very expensive schools or are sent abroad to study. 
  • they can watch movies from morning till dawn after school.
  • they are treated like baby kings and queens.
  • they don't do any household chores.
  • Food is put on the table for them,
  • their plates are removed and washed by parents or house maids.
  • They are given expensive cars and clothes,
  • not forgetting *big pocket monies to be wasted* !!!.
  • Their parents help them in doing their assignments.
In spite of all these, only few can *speak* or *write* correctly. 
Group 'A' Parents  cared for their own *parents* and *children*, Group 'B',their Children are still *struggling to find their feet at age 30+*.‼
They find it difficult to do things on their own because they are used to being helped to think and doing things by Group 'A'. So they can't help themselves, their parents or the society. THEY ABANDON THEIR PARENTS IN THEIR BID TO ACQUIRE THE WORLD

Where do you belong
  • Reduce the pampering and the unnecessary help you offer your children.
  • Let your children grow in wisdom, intelligence and strength.
  • Let them face the truth and the realities of life. Teach them to grow  to become independent adults. Teach them to

    fear God,
  • ​Teach them​
    respect others
  • develop confidence in themselves.
Discipline your children to become disciplined adults, *useful* and not *useless.​

◆ 1. Vitamin D is *produced by your skin* in response to exposure to ultraviolet radiation *from natural sunlight*.

So you don't generate vitamin D when sitting in your car or home. 

◆ 3. It is nearly impossible to get adequate amounts of vitamin D from your diet. *Sunlight exposure is the only reliable way* to generate vitamin D in your own body.
