I need to tell you something, and I hope you don’t mind: you are not always right. Sometimes you are wrong — and that’s perfectly normal. We are all wrong about things, regularly and repeatedly.
The real question is not if you are wrong, but how you handle it. Hiding mistakes damages your integrity and teaches your team to do the same. Blaming others is even worse — it erodes trust and turns colleagues into scapegoats.
On the other hand, admitting when you’re wrong shows responsibility and integrity. It sets the right example, helps solve issues faster, and builds a stronger, high-performing team.
So once again: you are not always right. And that’s OK.
