Lessons from Experience: While the total cost of your education might remain a mystery, the memories of your school and college...
While the total cost of your education might remain a mystery, the memories of your school and college years will last a lifetime. Years from now, you may not recall the amount you paid for hospital bills, but you will forever treasure the moment you saved your mother’s life or welcomed a newborn into the world. You may forget the cost of your honeymoon, but the joy of those moments spent in togetherness will remain with you always. Money fades, but memories and experiences live on.
While material things may require money, the true value lies in the experience they bring, and that will always outlast the cost.
What about economic downturns?
Let the economy fluctuate as it may, but don’t let the quality of your life diminish. You can still take your parents, perhaps not on a grand pilgrimage, but at least to the local mosque. You can still enjoy time with your children, maybe not on an international vacation, but at the local park. It costs nothing to spend time with a loved one, to hold them close.
Now is a perfect opportunity to train employees, nurture leadership, and prepare for the better days ahead.
Remember, your health, personal growth, and spiritual journey are not dictated by the economy.
If you're not content with what you have now, no amount of wealth will ever bring true happiness.
Live with purpose: How you feel shouldn't be based on how much you possess.
