As a job seeker, it’s important you stay on top of the latest trends related to jobs in India and modify your job search process. Technology acts as a key facilitator in automating hiring processes. Recruiters are now deploying artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms to analyse resumes and communicate with candidates. Even traditional in-person interviews are making way for video calls. Work flexibility

In the past, job-related communications strictly happened over email or phone calls. As recruitment adopts more informal modes of communication, it isn’t uncommon to see recruiters contact job seekers over phone messages and even WhatsApp for giving messages, confirm interviews etc. to save time writing emails. However, job seekers should be careful with this. Use text to communicate only if it is the recruiter who has initiated it. Do not take this liberty yourself.
